ABOUT THE BRIGHTON KETTLEBELLS TEAM
The Brighton Kettlebells team is hand picked to ensure the highest standard of training possible. Each one of our coaches can put into practice everything that they teach as they themselves regularly train with kettlebells.
We require that each coach is certified by the best in the industry and that they themselves have a high standard of fitness. Furthermore, each coach has their own unique style of training, giving each class a different twist with varied and fun workouts, so you never get bored.
CHRISTIAN VILA

Founder and Operator - Brighton Kettlebells
Christian was one of the first Personal trainers to become certified to teach Kettlebells in Brighton & Hove. Having been in the health & fitness industry since 1998, he has a passion for training and helping others achieve their fitness goals. After graduating with a BA (Hons) Sports Science degree, he’s had the best training in the industry possible, leading to a level 3 Personal Training qualification from the National Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM).
Disillusioned by the fitness industry, Christian turned to Kettlebells in 2008 and has trained under the world’s best trainers, including Angie Dowds (Biggest Loser series) , Steve Cotter (IKFF) , Martin Rooney (TFW) and Mike Mahler (Aggressive Strength) to become one of the country’s top Kettlebell trainers.
Christian went on to launch the successful Brighton Kettlebells classes in 2008, which now has several classes a week around Brighton & Hove.
Christian also offers personal training under the CVPT banner around Brighton & Hove.

SUE VILA

Brighton Kettlebelles
Established in 2016, in response to a great demand for a fitness class for women only, Brighton Kettlebelles is Brighton & Hove’s only female led women’s only Kettlebell fitness class.
These classes are led by Sue Vila, a mother who has many years experience as a group fitness instructor including Kettlebells, Zumba and Circuit training.
Sue has a high level of fitness and is very skilled having used kettlebells for over fifteen years. She participates in all classes she teaches, often with a 12 or 14kg to lead by example!
Sue also offers beauty treatments under the Unique Treatments banner.
JESSE LAMBERT-HARDEN

Online Supremo
Jesse joined the Brighton Kettlebells team in 2019 and can be seen leading the classes outdoors and online.
Jesse is a nutrition coach, personal trainer and biomechanics trainer based in Brighton & Hove. She works from both her home gym and online, working with clients all over the world. She is the Fuel Coach for Her Spirit, an online women’s health app, and a health and fitness writer, regularly contributing for Triathlon 220 magazine and other women’s features.
After many years of trying to manage her health and fitness unsuccessfully, joining gyms, overexercising and under-fuelling my body, she began to educate myself about how to create more of a sustainable, practical and long term approach.
